Sustainability is a new, emerging culture, responding to the compelling need to protect and restore our natural systems and their eco-system services, while providing for economic development and social equity. With climate change and population growth as key drivers, at no time in human history has there been such a need to change the way we do things. We need a complete re-design of our cities, towns and communities, our houses and buildings, our methods of resource extraction and energy usage, our modes of production and transport, amongst many other areas. Great changes are occurring now, and you are encouraged to be part of the change.

Greensynergy Consulting services can be tailored to meet the needs of people, businesses, communities and community groups, government agencies and non-government organizations.
With a built environment background, our technical specialty is buildings and their environmental impacts. Greensynergy Consulting is also active in bringing about change by developing the capacity of people, communities and organizations to adopt sustainable practices and develop strong sustainability cultures.

We hope to post a variety of items concerning sustainability projects, activities and philosophy: opinions, stories, facts, observations and general advice. The Blogs are open for comments and communication on key sustainability issues.
Where are we?
Greensynergy Consulting is based at the Innovation Centre at Coffs Harbour on the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. The Innovation Centre shares a campus with Southern Cross University, North Coast TAFE and Coffs Harbour Senior College. Although based in regional Australia, Greensynergy services are available Australia-wide. To facilitate this, Greensynergy has developed associations (synergies!) with other sustainability practitioners providing a range of sustainability services.
